Historical order by the Kolkata High Court on celebration of Durga Puja

19 Oct. 2020: Kolkata High court announces historical verdict on celebration of Durga Puja in West Bengal. The verdict is for about 34,000 pujo mandapas in the state. Focusing the covid-19 pandemic situation, the Kolkata High court has ordered all the puja committees to organize puja with no visitors. The high court has also circulated precautionary norms to follow during Durga Puja. Every Puja mandap has been considered as containment zone by the High court. 5 metres beyond the extremities of small size pandals, 10 metres beyond the bigger pandals dedicated and demarcated as no entry zone.

Awareness should be raised in the state. In this time of new normal life we are going to have different experience from the earlier.
